My sister-in-law sent me a video of my niece and nephew. They sang me happy birthday and blew kisses toward the camera. Tears filled my eyes as I thought about how special that moment was. Soon they would be grown and that sweet season of life would be over.
What if I could somehow create a sense of what life was like in that moment? Not just a 15 second iPhone video - but a film showing my brother and sister-in-law interacting with their kids? My mind started to turn... how much would they cherish something like that?
While motherhood is a dream that hasn't happened for me yet, it doesn't change the joy I feel at seeing parents interact with their kids or the happiness I feel when I get to interact with my family.
